Mountain Laurel Dermatology was founded by Doctor Gina Singleton in 2014 after practicing for over 17 years. Along with a caring and experienced staff, the physicians offer a variety of dermatology services that include general dermatology, Blu Light Therapy, and Skin Cancer treatment.

Gina R. Singleton, MD

Gina Singleton is a native of Western North Carolina and grew up in Haywood County. She graduated with highest honors from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee with a BS in biology. She attended medical school at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. While at ETSU, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society her junior year. She graduated at the top of her medical school class, receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree. After an internship in internal medicine at ETSU, Dr. Singleton completed a dermatology residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. There, she served as chief resident her last year. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the North Carolina Dermatologic Society. She began practicing dermatology in Western NC in 1999.

Frances Ramos-Herberth, MD

Frances Ramos-Herberth, MD was raised in Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with honors holding a BS and BA in Microbiology and French. After medical school at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Ramos-Herberth completed her Internal Medicine internship and Dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She then completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology at Stanford University.  Dr. Ramos-Herberth is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and is board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. She is a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology.

Justin Hogan
Justin A. Hogan, PA-C

Justin Hogan is originally from Montgomery, Alabama. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University Montgomery in Montgomery, Alabama. He received his physician assistant training from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut where he earned a Master of Medical Science degree in 2013, and then he went on to complete his board certification. He joined Mountain Laurel Dermatology in April 2015. Justin is currently certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, as well as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
