Gina Singleton is a native of Western North Carolina and grew up in Haywood County. She graduated with highest honors from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee with a BS in biology. She attended medical school at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. While at ETSU, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society her junior year. She graduated at the top of her medical school class, receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree. After an internship in internal medicine at ETSU, Dr. Singleton completed a dermatology residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. There, she served as chief resident her last year. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the North Carolina Dermatologic Society. She began practicing dermatology in Western NC in 1999.

Kathryn was born and raised in Chapin, South Carolina.  She attended the College of Charleston where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  She then moved to St. Louis where she worked as a research assistant in the Department of Psychiatry. After a couple of years in St. Louis, she moved to Denver where she worked at the University of Colorado as a research assistant in Neurology. In Colorado she worked with many PAs and took the decisive step to apply to PA school. Kathryn earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville, TN.  She spent her first three and a half years working as a Hospitalist and Pulmonary/Critical Care PA in Knoxville. She moved to Asheville in 2021 where she worked as a PA in General Surgery before joining Mountain Laurel Dermatology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Francesca Shrout is originally from New Hampshire. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from NC State University, graduating magna cum laude. She completed her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies at Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. She spent her first three years practicing in both Urgent Care and Psychiatry. Francesca is dedicated to delivering quality healthcare services to her patients in western North Carolina. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Tiffany has always had a passion for healthcare and serving her local community. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Chemistry from Appalachian State University in 2019. She then went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University in 2021. Before joining Mountain Laurel Dermatology, Tiffany spent two and a half years working in urgent care as a PA, where she developed a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute conditions. She brings that experience, along with a warm and attentive approach, to her work in dermatology. Outside of the clinic, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her husband and close friends, exploring the mountains, and staying active in the Asheville area she proudly calls home. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Courtney was born and raised in Forest City, North Carolina.  She attended Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Exercise Science.  Courtney earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Charleston Southern University in 2019.  She spent her first four years as a PA practicing in rural pediatrics. She spent 1 year in Dermatology in Myrtle Beach, SC before moving back to North Carolina, closer to her hometown, to join Mountain Laurel Dermatology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology PAs. Courtney has a dedication to foster patient relationships and provide those in Western North Carolina with quality health care.
